Why does my seed look different from the screenshots?

Seeds can produce slightly different terrain across Minecraft versions. Major version updates (1.18 caves & cliffs, 1.20 trails & tales) reshape generation. We list the verified version for every seed so you can match it exactly.

When creating a new world, click "More World Options", paste the seed into the "Seed" field, and start the world. The seed determines the terrain layout but not gameplay rules.

Can I share my own seed?

Yes — please contact us at editor@minecraftbible.com with the seed, version, edition, spawn coordinates, and a screenshot. We test every submission before adding it to the vault.

The Seeds vault is a hand-curated catalogue of Minecraft Java and Bedrock seeds. Each seed has been loaded into the game and its spawn coordinates, nearby structures, biome layout, and notable features verified by hand — no scraped, untested seeds.

Every seed entry lists the version that was used to verify the seed (seeds can drift between versions), exact coordinates for the most useful nearby points of interest, and a brief editorial note explaining why we picked it.

No — Java and Bedrock use different terrain generators. The same numerical seed will produce a completely different world in each edition. Always check the seed page for which edition it was tested in.
