📖About RocketRaid

Preview of RocketRaid

RocketRaid is a simple and powerful plugin that turns fireworks into explosive RPGs when fired from a crossbow. Designed for PvP and raid-heavy servers, RocketRaid adds a fun and strategic twist by allowing players to craft or receive special “Rocket” fireworks that explode like TNT on impact.

Compatible with Spigot 1.21 and up

v1.0.0: Initial release with core functionality

How it Works

Players can craft or receive a firework named “Rocket.” When this Rocket is fired from a crossbow, it creates a TNT-style explosion on impact. Only fireworks with the exact name "Rocket" will trigger the effect, keeping your gameplay controlled and balanced.

Crafting

Rocket Crafting Recipe

Players can craft a Rocket using a shapeless recipe:

  • 1x Gunpowder
  • 1x Paper
  • 1x Fire Charge

These ingredients can be placed in any arrangement in the crafting grid. The result will be a custom firework rocket named "Rocket" that can be loaded into a crossbow and fired for an explosive effect.

Features

  • Explosive firework rockets when fired from crossbows
  • Shapeless crafting recipe using 1 Gunpowder, 1 Paper, and 1 Fire Charge
  • Command to give Rockets directly to players
  • Only named Rockets explode to prevent misuse
  • Lightweight and survival-friendly design

Installation / Configuration / Usage

Drop the RocketRaid jar file into your server’s plugins folder. Restart the server or use a plugin manager to load it. Players can craft Rockets or use the /rocketraid give command to receive them.

Commands

/rocketraid – Displays plugin name, version, and author
/rocketraid give – Gives a Rocket firework to the player
/rocketraid give [player] – Gives a Rocket firework to the specified player

Permissions

rocketraid.give – Allows use of the give command (default: OP)

Dependencies

None required. Just install and boom.
