Special Pickaxe Ability System – Complete Feature Overview

This system introduces a fully configurable special pickaxe mechanic designed for advanced server gameplay. It adds four unique mining abilities—Smelter, Explosive, Bountiful, and Explosive Bountiful—each offering a different style of block breaking and resource gathering. All abilities are stored using Persistent NBT Data, guaranteeing that the special pickaxe maintains its ability even after enchanting, repairing, or modifying it through anvils. This makes the system extremely reliable and player-friendly.

The Smelter ability instantly converts mined ores into their smelted forms, removing the need for furnaces. Explosive breaks blocks in a radius without damaging the actual terrain. Bountiful increases block drops for faster resource farming. The hybrid Explosive Bountiful combines both effects, giving explosive area mining with bonus drops.

The system fully supports WorldGuard, allowing server owners to control where pickaxe abilities can be used. You can disable or allow abilities inside specific regions, making it perfect for protecting areas like spawns, mines, or plots. Additionally, built-in PlaceholderAPI support allows placeholders like current ability or special-pick status to be displayed on scoreboards, GUIs, or actionbars.
