DashableMace

DashMace is a lightweight and simple Minecraft plugin designed for Paper 1.21 that gives the mace a powerful new ability. By right-clicking while holding a mace, players can dash forward in the direction they are facing, launching themselves in a fast arc through the air. This movement is ideal for quickly closing gaps in combat, escaping dangerous situations, or simply moving around the world in style.

The dash ability includes a configurable cooldown, ensuring it remains balanced for both survival and PvP environments. The cooldown is displayed directly on the mace’s item cooldown bar in the hotbar, providing clear and intuitive feedback to the player without relying on chat messages or action bars.

DashMace comes with a simple configuration file that allows server owners to set the cooldown time in seconds. This value can be changed at any time and reloaded instantly with the /dashmace reload command, without requiring a server restart.

The plugin is optimized for performance and requires no dependencies. It integrates cleanly into any server setup, making it perfect for SMPs, PvP arenas, and custom game modes. With DashMace, the mace becomes more than just a melee weapon—it becomes a mobility tool for exciting gameplay.
