BetterCats

BetterCats is a small quality-of-life plugin that improves cat behavior and gives them light combat abilities. Cats no longer run away from players and can be safely approached. Cats will now attack creepers and endermen to help defend nearby players. Creepers and endermen are unable to damage cats, making cats useful but not overpowered companions. To keep balance, cats deal very low damage. Cats deal 0.5 damage per hit to creepers and 0.2 damage per hit to endermen. This allows cats to assist without replacing players in combat. The plugin also adds craftable cat armor that can be equipped on cats to improve their survivability. BetterCats works with both tamed and untamed cats, does not affect other mobs, and is designed to be lightweight and performance friendly. Compatible with Paper servers running Minecraft 1.21 and newer.
