Toolbar Sounds

Overview

Give the toolbar some subtle presence with this lightweight data pack. Plays tweaked Vanilla sound effects while scrolling through the toolbar (switching items on the hotbar), with different category sounds for:

• "Blunt" swords (wood and stone)
• Bow and crossbow
• Potions
• Shield
• Swords (the sharp ones)
• Tools (axes, hoes, pickaxes, and shovels)

Works on Singleplayer and Multiplayer worlds, and is built to be extensible to support mod items through future compatibility packs.

Installation

Save the downloaded data pack .zip file to the datapacks folder of your world. If the world is live, use the command /reload to load it in. For more details check out the documentation here.

Compatibility

Now supports 1.20 to 1.21.8! Please be sure to pick the correct file for your Minecraft version. :)

Uninstallation

The following command will clear any schedules or scoreboards from the data pack:

/function toolbar_sounds:uninstall
