Some Things Mod

Some Things is a Vanilla+ mod that aims to breathe new life into familiar Minecraft mechanics. The mod does not add new ores or dimensions, but makes existing items and interactions deeper and more logical.

Features

Quality of Life

• Eternal Anvil: Removed the "Too Expensive" limit.
• Auto-Planting: Right-click on a ripe crop with a hoe to harvest it and immediately plant seeds.
• Soups: Soups and stews can now be stacked up to 8 pieces.
• Furnace Carts: Added a GUI with 9 slots for fuel/items.
• Recycling: Drop an anvil on armor or tools to "flatten" them and get half of the resources back.

Combat & Tools

• Tactical Spyglass: Look at an enemy through the spyglass for more than 3 seconds to mark them (Glow effect).
• Combat Torch: Striking with a torch has a 25% chance to set the enemy on fire.
• Useful Snowballs: Snowballs now extinguish fire and apply Slowness to enemies.
• Arthropod Scourge: Bane of Arthropods enchantment now allows you to mine cobwebs instantly and walk through them.
• Thunderstrike: The trident with Channeling works in any weather if there is an active Conduit nearby and you are standing in water.

Armor & Stealth

• Stealth in Leather: A full set of leather armor allows you to walk on Sculk without creating vibrations.
• Light Chainmail: Chainmail armor gives a bonus to Bow and Crossbow firing speed.

Transportation

• Trains: Minecarts can be chained together (right-click with a Chain).
• High-speed Tracks: Rails placed on top of Gravel significantly speed up minecarts.

World & Food

• Food Buffs: Cookies, Pumpkin Pies, and Stews now give small buffs.
• Weather: Plants grow 20% faster when it rains.
• Biomes: Loot in chests now depends more on the biome you are in.
• Potions: Night Vision Potion has a new crafting recipe (Glow Ink Sac).
