Catalyst

Catalyst is a lightweight client-side utility mod designed for NeoForge 1.21.1. It provides a collection of essential quality-of-life features to enhance your survival experience, focusing on convenience, movement, and visibility.

Everything is configurable via an in-game GUI, and features can be toggled instantly with keybinds.

✨ Key Features

👁️ Visual Enhancements

• Fullbright (Infinite Night Vision): breaks the vanilla gamma limit using Mixins.
  • Turns all dark areas completely bright (no shadows).
  • Toggle instantly with G.
• Zoom: Simple key-bound zoom to observe distant objects (similar to the spyglass effect without the item).

🏃 Movement Tweaks

• No Sneak Slowdown:
  • Move at full walking/sprinting speed while crouching.
  • Safe: You still retain the safety of sneaking (you won't fall off blocks).
  • Toggle with V.
• Auto Sprint: Automatically sprints when moving forward. Toggle with R.
• Auto Swim: Automatically switches to the swimming pose when entering water for faster traversal.

🛠️ Smart Utilities

• Auto Tool Swapping: Automatically switches to the best tool in your hotbar when attacking or mining.
  • Mode A: Speed Priority: Always selects the fastest tool (e.g., Diamond Pickaxe on Stone).
  • Mode B: Eco Mode (Best Value): Saves durability of high-tier tools. It selects the lowest-tier tool capable of mining the block (e.g., uses Stone Pickaxe for Stone, switches to Diamond Pickaxe for Obsidian).

⚙️ Configuration & HUD

• In-Game GUI: Press O to open the configuration menu. Toggle features, switch Auto Tool modes, and save settings.
• HUD Feedback: Receive color-coded status messages (e.g., "Auto Sprint: Enabled") above your hotbar when toggling features via hotkeys.
• Persistent Config: All settings are saved to catalyst-client.toml.

🎮 Controls (Default)

Key	Function	Description
O	Open Menu	Opens the visual configuration GUI.
G	Toggle Fullbright	Toggles maximum brightness (Night Vision).
R	Toggle Sprint	Toggles Auto Sprint functionality.
V	Toggle Sneak	Toggles No Sneak Slowdown.

(All keys can be rebound in the standard Minecraft Controls menu)

📋 Installation

1. Install Minecraft 1.21.1.
2. Install the latest version of NeoForge.
3. Drop the Catalyst-1.0.jar into your .minecraft/mods folder.
4. Launch the game!
