Bell of Companions adds a simple, magical way to register your pets and instantly call them back to your side, even from far away!

Features

• Pet Tagger – Register and manage tamed/owned animals with ease
• Quick-name prompt – right-click an unnamed tamed pet with the tagger to name + tag in one step
• Pet Bell – Recall tagged pets within range (as item or placeable block)
• Placeable Pet Bell block – Vanilla-style placement (floor, wall, ceiling, double-wall)
• Redstone support – Trigger placed bell recalls with redstone (with activation sound & particles)
• Bell range ring – Client-side visual preview while holding the bell
• Teleport effects – Choose particles, portal, smoke, poof or none
• Pet list UI – Keybind (default B) to see tagged & owned pets (name, distance, icon)
• Distance cap display – Pets farther than range show as max+ m (e.g. 60+ m)
• Highly Configurable – customize range, cooldowns, sounds, particles, quick-naming, durability, villager protection & more

How to Use

Pet Tagger

• Right-Click a tamed/owned pet → Tag the pet
• Right-Click an unnamed tamed pet with the tagger → quick name & tag prompt
• Shift + Right-Click → Untag the pet

Pet Bell

• Right-Click (item or placed block) → Recall tagged pets within range
• Hold the bell (item) → See the range ring preview
• Redstone → Connect to placed Pet Bell block for automatic recalls

Configuration

With Mod Menu and Cloth Config API installed, you can configure:

• Summon range – Limit how far pets can be recalled (or set to infinite)
• Cooldown – Add a delay to prevent spam
• Max pets per recall – Limit how many pets teleport at once
• Recall sort order – Nearest, furthest, random or by type
• Sounds & particles – Toggle effects, change bell sound, adjust amount/intensity
• Teleport effects – Animation style and strength
• Range ring – Color, density, thickness
• Quick-name settings – Require Name Tag?
• Tagger durability – Infinite use or limited uses
• Villager & trader protection – Prevent tagging/recalling them
• And more!
